Three individuals, including two identified as high-value targets, were arrested during a buy-bust operation conducted by the Station Drug Enforcement Team of the Taytay Municipal Police Station on Wednesday night in Barangay San Isidro.
The suspects were identified as alias Weng, a high-value individual allegedly involved in drug pushing and use; alias Nizel, also tagged as a high-value drug pusher and user; and alias Kenneth, who was classified as a street-level user.
The police operation was carried out around 11 PM and led to the confiscation of five heat-sealed plastic sachets containing approximately 120 grams of suspected shabu, with an estimated street value of P816,000.
Also recovered from the suspects were a coin purse, a handbag, a motorcycle, and boodle money used in the operation.
The suspects are currently detained at the Taytay Municipal Police Station’s custodial facility while authorities prepare the necessary documents for the filing of charges.
They will be charged for violating Republic Act No. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 before the Taytay Prosecutors' Office.
