On Friday, 11 July, Department of Information and Communications Technology Cybercrime Investigation and Coordinating Center Deputy Executive Director Asec. Renato Paraiso, together with Directors Alvin Navarro and Digital Pinoys National Campaigner Ronald Gustilo, held a press conference regarding influencers who endorse illegal gambling.
Digital Pinoys encouraged the filing of appropriate charges against influencers who promote illegal gambling sites on social media, following the growing number of victims falling prey to these illegal operations.
