DigiPlus Interactive Corp., the brand behind popular Filipino gaming platforms BingoPlus, ArenaPlus, and GameZone, announced expanded efforts under its responsible gaming framework — first launched in 2024. The initiative now includes strengthened player safeguards, expanded in-app features, and new community ambassador programs reaching millions nationwide.

Since its introduction, DigiPlus has led the Philippine market in player protection, becoming the first to integrate in-app self-exclusion features directly into its gaming platforms. Players can set daily time limits, create personalized schedules, or implement loss caps with just a few taps. These tools are reinforced by what the company calls the industry's most stringent player restrictions.

“Our platforms feature enhanced electronic Know Your Customer (e-KYC) processes that use facial recognition,” the company said. “We also enforce strict age verification and cross-check all users against PAGCOR’s National Database of Restricted Persons.”

DigiPlus has also expanded its Responsible Gaming Ambassadors Program, bringing in household names like comedian Vice Ganda and basketball star Kiefer Ravena—along with his family—to help normalize healthy gaming habits. The ambassadors amplify the company’s message that responsible gaming is not just corporate policy but a growing movement among players and influencers.

The company’s GameZone platform recently introduced new ambassadors directly from its player base. The 2024 GameZone Tablegame Champions Cup winners were named as Responsible Gaming Ambassadors, setting examples from within the gaming community.

“Our best advocates often come from the player base itself,” DigiPlus said. “They understand the thrill and the risks, and they help foster a culture of mindful gaming.”

The company has also launched its “Tamang Laro, Tamang Panalo” financial coaching series. In it, licensed psychologists and financial experts teach players how to enjoy gaming responsibly and budget their entertainment expenses. Another initiative, the “Pusta de Peligro” short film series, aired nationwide, has sparked conversation on recognizing when a bet becomes harmful—reaching millions and shaping gaming discourse.

Internally, DigiPlus mandates Responsible Gaming training for all its gaming employees. Staff are trained to spot early warning signs and direct players to seek support when needed. The company said regular drills and refresher sessions help maintain high standards of intervention on the ground.
