In the early morning light of 27 June, singer and actor Aiza Seguerra took to social media with a heavy heart, announcing the passing of her beloved mother, Mommy Caring. At exactly 7:54 a.m., the woman who stood as a constant source of strength, love, and unwavering presence in her life drew her final breath, leaving behind a legacy etched not in fame but in quiet, selfless devotion.
“She never left my side,” Aiza wrote in a moving tribute. “Every show, every gig, every milestone, she was there.” It’s a portrait of a mother whose love extended far beyond maternal duty, a woman who saw every opportunity to support her child as a gift. From bringing comfort food on tough days to offering a healing touch when migraines struck, Mommy Caring’s acts of love were everyday miracles.
She was Aiza’s rock, first teacher, and fiercest protector, embracing her child’s identity wholly and without condition. “She accepted me and embraced me for who I am, especially who I am not,” Aiza shared, a testament to the deep compassion and unconditional love Mommy Caring gave not only to her children but to many who considered her a second mother.
Even in her absence, her legacy lives on in the strength she instilled in her children. “Promise ko sa iyo diba, Mama, brave ako,” Aiza vowed. “Ikaw ang nagturo sa akin kung paano maging matatag sa harap ng mga sakit na binabato ng buhay.”
Mommy Caring is survived by her children, Aiza and Juan Carlos Miguel, who now ask for the public’s prayers and support during this time of grief. Details of her wake will be shared in due course.
As the tributes pour in, one thing is clear: Mommy Caring’s life was a quiet symphony of love, presence, and steadfastness. And though her physical presence may have faded, the lessons she lived by and the hearts she touched will carry her memory forward.
