This season, fluid silhouettes and barely-there fabrics define Van Laack’s womenswear. But at the heart of the brand’s evolution is a confident return to the essence of menswear: Structured yet supple, refined yet relaxed. Their Made to Measure (MTM) suits are a masterstroke in contemporary tailoring, shaped by decades of tradition and driven by modern sensibilities.

Leading this refined revolution is Florian Ohlde, Van Laack’s head of product development and sales. Under his direction, the bespoke offering has expanded, now featuring the finest Italian textiles from Como, Biella and Florence, hand-finished details and cuts designed to honor both heritage and individuality.

“These are not just suits — they’re statements of self,” says Ohlde. “Every stitch is intentional, every silhouette tailored to amplify the wearer’s confidence.”

Van Laack recently brought this bespoke journey to Manila with an exclusive launch event at Shangri-La Plaza, where respected style arbiter David Celdran joined Ohlde in walking guests through the intricacies of the MTM process. From handling luxurious swatches to witnessing live measurements, attendees engaged with the art of tailoring on an intimate scale.
