ANGELES CITY, Pampanga — Authorities seized P6.5 million worth of illegal liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) products during a raid at CMQ Refilling Plant in Barangay Cuayan on 17 June.
The Criminal Investigation and Detection Group Regional Field Unit 3, along with LPGMA, Republic Gas Corp. (REGASCO), and South Pacific Inc., led the operation.
Two suspects, identified as Anthony and Ruel, were arrested for allegedly refilling REGASCO LPG cylinders without authorization and repainting the tanks to conceal the original markings before resale.
