Students from two public schools in Pasay received essential school supplies for the upcoming academic year, courtesy of the Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) as part of its participation in Brigada Eskwela 2025.
In a statement released Saturday, MIAA said its Lingap Kapwa Task Force turned over 140 school bags and 500 bottles of drinking water to Rivera Village Elementary School and Rogelio Gatchalian Elementary School.
The donated school bags came from unclaimed lost-and-found items at the airport, in line with MIAA Memorandum Circular No. 05, Series of 2021. The policy mandates that items left unclaimed after six months may be donated to charitable institutions or used in MIAA-led outreach programs.
