Veteran actor Bobby Andrews paid an emotional tribute to his longtime friend and former T.G.I.S co-star Red Sternberg, following the latter’s passing on 27 May.
“Red was one of my closest friends in showbiz — we started together, learned the ropes side by side, and stayed close even when he moved abroad,” Bobby shared.
The two actors rose to fame in the 1990s teen drama T.G.I.S., where they became household names and developed a brotherhood. Even after Red stepped away from the limelight and eventually moved overseas, their bond remained strong.
Bobby spoke openly about the deep loss he feels, recalling Red’s warmth, loyalty, and infectious humor. “I’ll miss his presence, his humor, his heart,” he said. “Thank you for the friendship, brother. Rest easy.”
