Sam Milby treats himself to a birthday surprise

Kapamilya star Sam Milby just turned 41 — and he’s cruising into this new chapter with style.

In a video shared by Cornerstone Entertainment, the actor-singer gave fans a first look at his latest acquisition: a sleek electric car, which he proudly calls his birthday gift to himself. “After driving this for a week now, I’m super happy with it. Long range, ang bilis sobra,” Sam shared.

While he kept the specific model under wraps, the Saving Grace actor gushed over the car’s smooth handling, silent engine, and low maintenance requirements. “You don’t have to worry about maintenance because there’s no oil change, there’s no engine. It’s so smooth, so fast, so quiet,” he said.

Milby also pointed out a few practical perks. “There are actually so many charging stations pala sa Pilipinas, so it’s not as scary as most people think. Sa ngayon, walang coding,” he added.

That said, the actor admitted there’s still a learning curve. “There’s no Google Maps or Waze on it,” he laughed, noting that the car’s interface relies heavily on digital screens. “I’m still getting used to it.”

Sam’s latest addition isn’t his only prized ride. On Instagram, he frequently shares snapshots of his motorcycle adventures. He’s also a proud member of the Drama Moto Club — a celebrity riders’ group that includes fellow actors John Prats, Gerald Anderson, Jake Cuenca, Sancho delas Alas, and Marc Solis.
