Christine Juliane “CJ” Hinkle Opiaza of the Philippines is set to make history as the first Filipina to be officially crowned Miss Grand International 2024.
This comes after the reported dethronement of Rachel Gupta of India, who was stripped of the title due to her alleged failure to meet the organization’s responsibilities. Gupta initially made history as India’s first Miss Grand International winner before being removed from the position.
Opiaza, originally the first runner-up, is now poised to inherit the crown and title.
The Miss Grand International organization hinted at the transition in a recent Instagram post, fueling anticipation among pageant fans:
“Being a queen isn’t just about outer beauty — it begins within. Stay tuned!”
The official announcement is expected soon.
