Ayala Healthcare Holdings, Inc. (AC Health) has entered a five-year partnership with global medical technology firm Becton Dickinson (BD) to drive innovation in healthcare across the Philippines and Southeast Asia.
The partnership, formalized through a memorandum of understanding, targets improvements in six key areas: clinical innovation, digital integration, supply chain efficiency, public health initiatives, research, and training for healthcare professionals.
It will cover initiatives such as consulting on clinical workflows, integrating digital tools, strengthening supply chain systems, implementing disease prevention programs, conducting joint research, and training medical staff within AC Health’s network.
“This strategic collaboration with BD is in line with AC Health’s continued efforts to modernize and scale healthcare solutions across the country,” AC Health president and CEO Paolo Borromeo said Friday.
“By combining our local network and market insights with BD’s global capabilities, we aim to deliver meaningful innovation that addresses both business goals and the evolving needs of our patients and communities.”
BD Southeast Asia vice president and general manager Liang Lu said: “This MoU with AC Health underscores BD's commitment to the Philippines' national vision for a robust and equitable healthcare system. We see this collaboration as a significant step in contributing to the nation's healthcare advancement, where our combined strengths in medical technology and healthcare delivery will drive meaningful improvements in patient outcomes, support public health priorities and build a healthier, more resilient Philippines.”
AC Health said the partnership may extend beyond five years, as both firms explore scalable solutions to strengthen healthcare delivery and outcomes across the region.
