Listed property developer D.M. Wenceslao and Associates, Inc. (DMW) has started construction of Aseana Plaza, a landmark office complex in Aseana City set to become its largest commercial development to date.

In a stock exchange report on Tuesday, the company said the initial phase of Aseana Plaza will offer about 70,000 square meters of gross leasable area (GLA), which will contribute to a total of approximately 130,000 square meters once the full project is completed. 

With the completion of Phase 1, DMW’s commercial portfolio will expand to over 300,000 square meters of GLA.

“We have always envisioned Aseana City as more than just a business district – it’s a community where work, leisure, and daily life intersect,” said Delfin Angelo “Buds” Wenceslao, Chief Executive Officer. 

“Breaking ground on Aseana Plaza is a major step toward realizing that vision, creating a destination where global industry players and local communities converge,” Wenceslao added.

The office complex is designed to accommodate a mix of tenants, including global logistics and shipping firms, business process outsourcing (BPO) companies, and traditional corporate offices. It aims to meet the growing demand for modern office spaces in integrated urban settings.

Aseana Plaza will include a central al fresco plaza connected to the Parqal greenway and will be linked to Aseana City’s upcoming skywalk system to improve connectivity and walkability.
