Despite heavy rains, Senator Christopher “Bong” Go went ahead with his visit to Marikina City on Tuesday to show continued support for small entrepreneurs and engage with local communities. While waiting for the rain to ease, Go met with residents before leading a motorcade around the city.
“We are here in Marikina City to support Duter-TEN: Senator Ronald ‘Bato’ dela Rosa, Congressman Rodante Marcoleta, Bong Go, Phillip Salvador, Atty. Jimmy Bondoc, Atty. Vic Rodriguez, Atty. Jayvee Hinlo, Atty. Raul Lambino, Dr. Richard Mata, and Pastor Apollo Quiboloy,” Go said, listing the slate’s candidates.
During the motorcade, Go went live on Facebook, spotlighting Pares Marikina, a popular local eatery, and emphasizing his support for small businesses.
“This place is really famous. Let’s support it. Marikina is well-known for shoes, but their beef pares here is also delicious,” Go shared.
