A buy-bust operation conducted by the Valenzuela City Police last Wednesday morning resulted in the arrest of a high-value drug individual.
Based on the submitted report from Valenzuela City Police Chief Police Colonel Nixon Cayaban, the suspect, identified as Medic, a 42-year-old car painter, was arrested by the operatives of the Valenzuela City Police - Drug Enforcement Unit along M.H. Del Pilar in Barangay Arkong Bato.
Operatives arrested Medic after he sold one piece of a heat-sealed transparent sachet containing suspected shabu to the poseur buyer.
“Upon frisking, recovered from his possession were four (4) pieces of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu,” the report stated.
Overall, the police recovered at least 101 grams of suspected shabu within the transparent sachets, which has a street value of P686,800.
The 42-year-old car painter will be subjected to an inquest proceeding before the Valenzuela City Prosecutor's Office and will face charges for violations of Sections 5 and 11 of Republic Act No. 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
