Manila Electric Company (Meralco), led by Manuel V. Pangilinan, conducted a month-long wire clearing operation along Andrews Avenue in Pasay City to improve traffic flow for motorists heading to and from Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).
“The clearing operations of dangling wires in our facilities around NAIA is important especially with the expected surge of travelers who will pass through the area during the upcoming Holy Week,” said Meralco Vice President and Head of Corporate Communications Joe R. Zaldarriaga.
As part of its commitment to promote public safety, Meralco continues to collaborate with local government units for the implementation of anti-urban blight operations across its franchise area. This initiative ensures the delivery of safe, stable, and reliable electricity service for its eight million customers.
