PhilHealth has reminded its members that they can avail of the Outpatient Emergency Care Benefit (OECB) Package in any PhilHealth-accredited hospital, whether Level 1, 2, or 3, starting 14 February 2025.

This clarification is in line with PhilHealth Advisory No. 2025-0009, issued on the same date, which states that hospitals do not require separate accreditation to provide the OECB Package. According to the advisory, a hospital’s capability to deliver the benefit has already been evaluated during the initial accreditation process.

Members who were unable to receive the OECB are encouraged to contact PhilHealth through its 24/7 touchpoints via landline at (02) 866-225-88 or mobile numbers 0998-857-2957, 0968-865-4670, 0917-127-5987, or 0917-110-9812. PhilHealth emphasized its continued commitment to making healthcare more accessible by ensuring that qualified members receive the emergency care benefits they are entitled to.
