Authorities arrested a high-profile suspect listed as the capital region’s 4th most wanted person during a manhunt operation in Caloocan City recently.
The suspect, identified only by the alias “Andres,” 63, was apprehended in Barangay Bagong Silang under a no-bail arrest warrant issued by Judge Bernard R. Rosario of Caloocan Regional Trial Court Branch 120 for murder charges.
The successful operation culminated weeks of tracking the fugitive, who had evaded capture despite his prominent position on law enforcement’s most wanted lists.
Police withheld the suspect’s full identity pending further investigation of possible connections to other crimes.
Investigators are preparing to file additional charges as they examine the suspect’s alleged involvement in other criminal activities.
