As she officially enters her "dating era," actress Andrea Brillantes celebrated her 22nd birthday with a joyful heart, confirming that she and Sam Fernandez are now dating.

In her recent Instagram post, Brillantes shared a carousel of birthday photos, which quickly caught the attention of her followers. Among the snaps, some featured Fernandez, fueling excitement among fans.

"Birthday week!" she simply captioned the post.

Prior to her birthday, Brillantes had already confirmed that she was seeing Fernandez. The two had been spotted together on multiple occasions, including a Valentine's Day date at an exclusive restaurant and other public outings.

In a recent interview, the actress shared that while waiting for her next project, she wants to focus on enjoying her youth, particularly through sports.

"I still wanna be young, I still wanna enjoy my youth, so tina-try kong mag-find ng time for my friends, for my community sa church, sa friends ko, sa sports," she said.

Brillantes also expressed her growing enthusiasm for her newest hobby — Frisbee.

"Frisbee naman, bago kong inaaral na sport, bago naman siya. Masaya siyang sport, guys, try niyo," she encouraged.

Samuel Fernandez Abu Hijleh, now known simply as Sam Fernandez, is a Filipino-Jordanian student-athlete from Calamba City, Laguna.

To recall, Brillantes previously dated basketball player Ricci Rivero, but they broke up in 2023. Rivero, who is now in a relationship with a beauty queen, has clarified multiple times that his new relationship was not the reason for his split with the actress.
