Angel Locsin’s father, Angel Colmenares, passed away on Wednesday, 5 March, 2025, at the age of 98.

Talent manager and concert producer Mario Colmenares, the late Mr. Colmenares’ nephew, also announced the news through an art card shared on Facebook today.

The art card featured a photo of Angel M. Colmenares, with the words “In loving memory of Angel M. Colmenares” written below. It also displayed his birthdate (17 February 1927) and date of passing.

Additionally, his remains are at Heritage Park in Taguig City.

Mario did not include a caption in his post. The Colmenares family has requested privacy during this difficult time but expressed gratitude to those who have sent their condolences and sympathies.

On her social media page, the actress confirmed the news by simply expressing her love for her father.

"We love you, Daddy Angel. Forever in our hearts," the actress wrote, followed by a praying hands emoji and a white heart emoji.
