Proud parent moments! Former couple Sunshine Cruz and Cesar Montano came together once again to celebrate their eldest daughter, Angelina Cruz, as she graduated from college.
On Instagram, Cruz couldn’t contain her happiness over Angelina’s achievement, who earned a degree in Marketing Management from De La Salle University.
"1 down. 👩🎓 Angelina! We are so proud of you! I've always prayed for this. Keep shining, and we will be by your side all the way. We love you! Congratulations," Cruz wrote in her post.
Netizens were also delighted to see Montano showing up to support their daughter on her special day.
In Cruz’s final post about the event, she shared a glimpse of a mini celebration with Montano and their family, expressing their love and support for Angelina.
"Proud mom, dad, and siblings to @angelinaisabele. We love you, @angelinaisabele," she captioned the post.
In previous interviews, Cruz revealed that she and Montano have maintained a good friendship and a strong co-parenting relationship for their three daughters—Angelina, Sam, and Chesca.
Cruz and Montano married in 2000, but in April 2014, Cruz filed for the annulment of their marriage. The petition was granted by the Quezon City Regional Trial Court in September 2018.
