Man of the hour Mark Herras caused a stir when he appeared unannounced, well, seemingly, at the song launch of businessman-singer Jojo Mendrez.
In a Facebook video shared by writer Jobert Sucaldito, Herras came with a bouquet of flowers, which he gave to Mendrez, who was performing his Jonathan Manalo-penned song. He also gave him a hug.
After that, Herras immediately left the venue.
Mendrez reportedly felt unwell after entertaining four questions from the press and politely excused himself from the media huddle.
Pambansang Marites Xian Gaza initially started the controversy between Herras and Mendrez when he posted a photo of the two while inside a hotel.
In an interview, Herras said he was there to make a reaction video of Mendrez’s latest song.
He also admitted he was with the singer in the casino, as shown in some photos.
Mendrez has already denied with seeming vehemence that there’s something romantic between him and Herras. He stressed that friendship is all there is between them.
Celebrity moms Sharon Cuneta and Janice de Belen believe motherhood is not about many things.
This, after this writer asked them what motherhood is not all about during the mediacon for Saving Grace.
“Motherhood is not about possession. It’s about mutual respect between you and your kids. It’s about a very difficult balance between being a friend and an authority figure. It’s not purely possession over them. It’s not expecting them to be like you when they grow up. It’s not about insisting to them to do what you want,” Cuneta explained.
“Motherhood is not about a puppet show. Your parents are supposed to guide them, guide them as they grow up pero hindi mo sila puwedeng i-control (but you can’t control them). At some point, you need to set them free and hope and pray that you did a good job,” De Belen said.
