The Heat is on: Meet the 69 candidates of Miss Universe Philippines 2025.

Filipino pageant fans are in for an exciting season as Miss Universe Philippines 2025 officially introduced its 69 stunning candidates last Saturday. These hopefuls will compete for the coveted crown and the chance to represent the Philippines at the 74th Miss Universe pageant in Bangkok, Thailand.

This year’s edition is considered one of the most competitive and celebrated in the pageant’s history, featuring a mix of fresh faces, returnees, and crossover beauty queens vying for the prestigious title.

Among the early frontrunners capturing the attention of pageant fans are Teresita "Winwyn" Marquez, Yllana Aduana, Ahtisa Manalo, and Chelsea Fernandez.

Several surprise standouts also shined during the grand presentation, impressing fans and judges alike, including Chela Falconer, Eloisa Jauod, Rechel Hoco, and Alessandra Eugenio.

This year, Miss Universe Philippines welcomes a strong lineup of Filipina beauties from overseas, adding more excitement to the competition. These include Valerie Claire West (New York) representing Ifugao, Shamara Krupa (Great Britain) representing Dumaguete, Amanda Russo (Pennsylvania) representing Pasay, and Chanel Olive Thomas (Melbourne) representing Nueva Ecija.

In an interview, Miss Universe Philippines national director Ariella Arida shared her thoughts on the intense competition this year.

“Everyone is unique; they have their own strengths. The key is to focus on themselves and not let external factors affect them, because at the end of the day, they are competing with themselves,” Arida stated.

With a powerhouse lineup of 69 phenomenal candidates, the Miss Universe Philippines 2025 pageant is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated editions yet.
