Three people were arrested Wednesday morning in Pasay City during a buy-bust operation conducted by the Southern Police District (SPD).
The suspects were identified as alias “Kosa,” alias “Christian” and alias “Ryan.” They were arrested around 3:50 a.m. along Andrews Avenue.
Police said members of the District Drug Enforcement Unit and District Intelligence Division conducted the operation, leading to the suspects’ arrests.
The suspects were on a police list of individuals allegedly involved in illegal drug activities.
Officers confiscated 100 grams of methamphetamine, commonly known as shabu, with an estimated street value of P680,000, police said.
The suspects are being held at the SPD custodial facility and face charges under Republic Act 9165, the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
In a separate incident, Taguig City police arrested a suspected high-value drug target on Tuesday in a buy-bust operation.
The suspect, identified as alias “Simeon,” was arrested in front of Aguahan 1 Village.
Authorities seized four plastic sachets containing 52.5 grams of shabu, estimated to be worth P357,000.
