P9-M counterfeit TVs seized at Subic

SUBIC BAY FREEPORT — The Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) and the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) have seized P9 million worth of counterfeit TVs during an operation at a company here on Thursday.
According to CIDG Police Capt. Jan Michael Jardin, the operation stemmed from the Oplan Megashopper as the authorities implemented a search warrant at the Enjoy Electronics Subic International at the Corregidor Highway, Ilanin West District of the Subic Bay Freeport.
CIDG Pampanga PFU (lead unit), with the representative of Ecom Electronics Reconditioning Services, CIDG Bataan PFU, RSOT-RFU3, CIDG-MCIU, SBMA Law Enforcement Department, SBMA Intelligence and Investigation Office, PNP-IMEG3, Morong MPS and Bataan PPO.
Jardin said that they are still looking for the officials from the Enjoy Electronics Subic International, namely: treasurer Zuhai Huang; shareholder Wang Teng Teng; shareholder Huang Xiaoping; and shareholder Huang Wufa.
He added that all the suspects are residents of Ilanin West District, Subic Bay Freeport Zone.
