American dealmaker Sean Gibbons is setting the stage for another run by top Filipino fighters on American soil.
In fact, the unbeaten and world-rated super-bantamweight Carl Jammes Martin is expected to arrive in Las Vegas on Sunday (Monday in Manila) to resume his training.
Also, middleweight Eumir Marcial and ex-world champion Jerwin Ancajas are also expected to head back to the United States to join Martin as they brace for crucial bouts in the coming months.
Martin spent the holidays in the country after winning two fights in Mexico last year while Marcial is raring to return to action after an early exit in the Paris Olympics.
Last time he fought professionally, he knocked out Thailand’s Thoedsak Sinam in March last year at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium.
Ancajas, meanwhile, has racked up two straight victories and is slowly making his way up the ratings in the super-bantam class.
The well-connected Gibbons also handles the affairs of several other world-ranked Filipino punchers who are eyeing world title shots in 2025.
