In celebration of its 12th anniversary, Solaire Resort & Casino in Entertainment City is elevating its culinary offerings with a series of extraordinary dining events featuring world-class chefs. From 29 February to 16 March, every Friday to Sunday, guests can indulge in remarkable culinary creations by three Michelin-starred chefs at Solaire’s renowned restaurants — Yakumi, Waterside, and Finestra.
The anniversary festivities kick off at Yakumi with Chef Jun Yukimura, the celebrated owner of the three-Michelin-starred Azabu Yukimura in Kyoto. Known for his innovative approach to traditional Kyoto cuisine, Chef Yukimura will present a bespoke nine-course Kaiseki dinner menu during the first week of celebrations. Each dish will be expertly paired with premium sakes and cocktails crafted by award-winning mixologist Shingo Gokan. Signature dishes include Hokkaido uni with Ise lobster jelly, cold soba noodles with bottarga powder, and wagyu shabu-shabu with sansho pepper flower.
The culinary journey continues at Waterside with Chef Sun Kim, the owner of Meta in Singapore, a two-Michelin Star restaurant that blends Eastern and Western flavors. Chef Kim’s six-course tasting menu, inspired by his Korean roots and international experience, will be accompanied by unique tea pairings from Tea Master He Jia. Signature dishes like Abalone Juk, Aji with radish, and KBBQ are sure to captivate diners seeking a fusion of contemporary flavors.
Finestra will host the renowned Chef Heinz Beck, a celebrated culinary master and owner of the iconic three-Michelin Star restaurant, La Pergola, in Rome. Chef Beck is known for his Mediterranean-inspired cuisine and commitment to high-quality ingredients. At Finestra, guests will savor a six-course dinner that includes dishes like marinated amberjack with celeriac in seawater, scampo with sweet peppers, and pumpkin risotto with amaretti.
Sebastian Kellerhoff, Vice President for Culinary at Solaire, shares, “For the past three years, we’ve had the privilege of bringing the world’s best chefs to celebrate our anniversary. It’s not just about exceptional service and cuisine; we’re bringing these Michelin-starred chefs closer to our Filipino audience, offering them the rare opportunity to experience global culinary mastery firsthand.”
This limited-time event promises an unforgettable gastronomic adventure for food lovers looking to explore the artistry of some of the world’s finest chefs in the heart of Entertainment City.
