The spirit of Elvis Presley returns to Metro Manila as internationally-acclaimed tribute artist Emilio Santoro takes the stage at the Solaire Resort Quezon City Grand Ballroom on 28 August.
Santoro, accompanied by his live band The Creoles, will pay tribute to the legendary rock and roll icon through performances of some of Presley's most enduring songs, including “Jailhouse Rock,” “Hound Dog,” “Blue Suede Shoes” and “Can't Help Falling in Love.”
The upcoming show traces back to Santoro's childhood, when his mother introduced him to Presley's music. That early fascination eventually grew into a career dedicated to recreating the “King's” distinctive stage presence and musical style.
Santoro has since performed around the world as an Elvis tribute artist, earning recognition in competitions in Europe and internationally. He was also a finalist on America's Got Talent in 2022 and won the official Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest at Graceland during Elvis Week in 2024.
His Manila performance promises to revisit the different sides of Presley's musical legacy, from energetic rock and roll numbers to the romantic ballads that helped cement his status as one of music's most enduring figures.
Adding a local touch to the evening, Filipino retro rock band The REO Brothers will open the show.
