Netizens were sent into a frenzy over the weekend as Ruffa Gutierrez and her ex-husband Yılmaz Bektaş exchanged playful messages on social media.

The buzz began when Gutierrez shared a carousel of snaps on Instagram, captioned “Soulful Sunday.” Bektaş couldn’t help but leave a compliment, commenting, “Elegant.”

The actress responded with humor and gratitude, replying, “çok merci” (a mix of Turkish and French for “thank you”) and adding, “Btw pls call Venice,” referring to their daughter.

Bektaş continued the lighthearted exchange, replying, “okay boss I will,” followed by a laughing emoji. Gutierrez ended the conversation with her own laughing emoji, leaving followers delighted.

This isn’t the first time the ex-couple has exchanged kind words publicly. In 2021, Gutierrez revealed they had reconnected for the sake of their two daughters, Lorin and Venice.

Last year, Bektaş also praised Gutierrez in a similar social media interaction.

The two were married in 2003 but separated in 2007. Their marriage was officially declared null and void in January 2011.
