The year is off to a great start for Filipino K-pop fans.

Seventeen, one of the world’s most popular K-pop groups, capped off the first stop of its Right Here World Tour for 2025 with a two-day concert at the Philippine Sports Stadium over the weekend.

Fans, also known as Carats, filled the venue in a sea of rose quartz and serenity outfits. Seventeen opened the show with “Fear,” followed by the hits “Fearless” and “Maestro.”

“Every time we come here, the reception of Filipino fans are truly different. It’s amazing and fantastic,” member DK said.

Screams of Carats became even louder when the group’s sub-units, the hip-hop unit, performance unit and vocal unit, took their turns on stage.

The hip-hop unit, consisting of S.Coups, Wonwoo, Mingyu and Vernon (who’s supporting a buzz cut hairstyle), wowed the crowd with “Water” and “Monster.”

The performance unit, headed by Hoshi, The8 and Dino, hyped the audience with “Rain” and “Lilili Yabbay.”

Vocal unit, meanwhile, had Seungkwan, Joshua, Woozi and DK singing to “Candy” and “Cheers to Youth.”

“After 10 years, I am very, very happy that we are artists and singers who can fill this kind of stadium. Although we are not 13 right now, I really, really hope there will come a time when we can fill this kind of venue again,” leader S.Coups, who had to sit out last year’s concert in the Philippines due to a knee injury, said.

Member Jeonghan is currently serving in the military. Jun, meanwhile, is busy promoting his individual activities in China.

Seventeen performed more than 20 songs, including tracks from the group’s 17 is Right Here and Spill the Feels albums. Although not part of the setlist, the members sang snippets of the songs “Fighting,” “Mansae,” “Cheers” and “HOT.”

“Let’s keep being together and we will keep giving you guys good music,” Wonwoo said.

The K-pop star also took notice of the fans’ energy despite the climate. He said, “It’s not easy to watch a concert in this weather, but thank you for cheering us on ‘til the end like this. We will try our hardest during encore in order to repay all the support you have given us,” Wonwoo ended.
