Judy Ann Santos shares surreal moments with Gordon Ramsay

Actress and chef Judy Ann Santos shared her unforgettable experience meeting world-renowned British celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay during his visit to Manila. Ramsay was in town for a special event at Newport World Resorts, where he invited Filipino chefs and content creators to cook for him.

In a series of Instagram posts, Santos expressed her excitement and disbelief over the once-in-a-lifetime moment.

"Wow… sa paanong paraan ko ba pwedeng maikwento ang araw ko today? Nakakaloka? Nakakabaliw? Napaka-surreal,” she wrote.

(Wow… how can I describe my day today? So surreal)

Santos described the highlight of her encounter with Ramsay — preparing a Filipino dessert, halo-halo, for the celebrity chef in just 10 minutes.

“Never in my wildest dreams that this would happen in my lifetime… ilang beses kong kinukurot yung sarili ko… totoo ba to? Pinaprank ba ko? Pero… totoo e!!! Gusto kong tumambling sabay split!! Simpleng halo-halo lang naman, but that was the fastest, nerve-wracking 10 minutes of my life,” she shared.

Despite the pressure, Santos described the moment as one of the best in her culinary career.

“But it was the best! Hindi ko alam what I did to deserve this… but I am so grateful for the experience. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone involved in this wonderful experience,” she added.

Santos also expressed gratitude to her husband, Ryan Agoncillo, and their youngest daughter, Luna, who were there to support her during the event.

In a touching moment, Santos shared that her daughter, Luna, gave Ramsay a drawing she had prepared for him.

“So proud of our baby, Luna! She personally gave her drawings and here’s their cute interaction,” Santos captioned a video of their encounter.

Aside from Santos, Filipino content creators like Ninong Rye and Abi Marquez also participated in Ramsay’s culinary event in Manila, sharing their own memorable moments with the chef.

Santos recently added a new milestone to her culinary journey, finishing her culinary degree with flying colors. Her passion for cooking began as a suggestion from her husband and was inspired by her desire to be a role model for her daughter, Yohan, whom she adopted in 2004.

In addition to her acting career, Santos is a restaurateur behind Angrydobo, a successful restaurant venture. She continues to inspire many with her dedication to personal growth and her ability to balance her roles as a celebrated actress, chef, and businesswoman.
