Makati Police seized 101 pieces of self-sealing plastic in white, black, and yellow labeled "Pop! Carts," each containing one disposable vape cartridge with suspected marijuana or cannabis oil, with an estimated value of P1,393,000.
The Makati City Police seized illegal drugs worth P1.4 million from two suspects in Barangay Bel-Air.
The suspects were identified as alias “Lulu,” 37 years old, and alias “Pinky,” 46 years old.
The buy-bust operation was conducted after an undercover buyer purchased the illegal items from the suspects.
From the suspects, authorities confiscated nearly 100 plastic containers containing vape cartridges allegedly filled with “tsongki oil,” valued at P1,393,000.
Also seized from the suspects were a disposable vape containing “tsongki oil,” a plastic case worth P7,500, half a gram of Tobats valued at P3,400, and 1 gram of suspected ecstasy worth P4,250.
The suspects will be charged with violations of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
