Once upon a time in the vibrant streets of Sta. Ana, Manila, a young girl named Marianne Beatriz Bermundo was born under the glow of a bright October sun. Today, at 16 years old, Marianne has become a shining star in the world of beauty pageants and a beacon of hope for young dreamers everywhere. A student at Manila Adventist College in Pasay City, Marianne is the daughter of Virginia Batalla Bermundo and Mark Donald Bermundo. But her journey to success hasn’t been an easy one. It has been a story of self-discovery, of learning to believe in herself, and of competing not just against others but against her own doubts and limitations. “The most defining moment of my life was when I joined and won beauty pageants,” she shares. “It’s not just about winning a crown. It’s about learning, growing, and finding out who I truly am.”

From her early days in the pageant world, Marianne has amassed an impressive list of titles and accolades including Philippine Empowered Youth of the Year 2024 Young Beauty Queen and 2nd Philippine Pageantry Excellence Awards 2025.

Even when I achieve success, I try to remain humble and selfless,” Marianne reveals. “I have learned to balance my life through time management, but it’s not always easy. Being a graduating student while competing in beauty pageants and handling responsibilities can be overwhelming. That’s why I turn to the people closest to me for support. They help me find balance and ease the pressure.”

Her philosophy on success is as refreshing as it is empowering: “Success isn’t about fame or wealth. A passionate advocate for self-love, her advice to fellow young women and aspiring dreamers is simple: “Love who you are. Trust yourself enough to reach for your dreams and know that everything begins with you.”
