Originally premiering Off-Broadway in 1975, A Chorus Line quickly transitioned to Broadway’s Shubert Theatre, running for over 6,000 performances and securing its place in theater history. The musical's creative team includes Marvin Hamlisch (music), Edward Kleban (lyrics), and James Kirkwood Jr. and Nicholas Dante (book).
The production has seen various revivals, including those on Broadway (2006) and West End (2013), as well as multiple tours across North America and internationally.
