The journey in Wakanda continues!

Marvel Studios heads Kevin Feige and Louis D'Esposito have subtly confirmed the development of Black Panther 3 during a tribute to departing Marvel Studios executive Nate Moore.

In a report by DEADLINE, they revealed that while Moore will leave Marvel in 2025 to pursue producing independently, he will remain attached to the highly anticipated project.

"Although we'll miss him a great deal, we look forward to watching what he does next while also having the good fortune of working with him in a new way on our next Black Panther movie," the duo stated.

This marks the first official acknowledgment of the project, signaling that development is already underway. However, details like the plot, cast, and logo remain under wraps.

The Black Panther franchise has been a major success for Marvel, with the 2018 original grossing $1.3 billion globally and earning seven Academy Award nominations, including Best Picture, ultimately winning three Oscars. Its sequel, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, released in 2022, garnered $859 million worldwide and cemented the series' position as one of Marvel's top-performing projects.

Nate Moore, who produced both Black Panther films, will return as a producer for the third installment. He is known for his work on projects like Eternals, Captain America: Civil War, and the upcoming Captain America: Brave New World.

"I couldn’t be more excited to apply my experience and passion for film toward theatrical movies in all genres, including returning to the world of Wakanda for Black Panther 3," Moore said, expressing his excitement about continuing his journey in Wakanda.
