The Department of National Defense (DND) held its third cybersecurity exercise, CYBEX 2024, with the Armed Forces of the Philippines to strengthen the government’s cybersecurity capabilities.
Defense spokesperson Arsenio Andolong emphasized on Thursday the exercise’s goal of raising awareness and improving skills in DND bureaus while fostering collaboration to tackle emerging cyber threats.
The event featured scenarios using the Cyber eX platform developed by the Philippine Army’s Cyber Battalion, as well as challenges in Digital Forensics, Cryptography and Artificial Intelligence.
Andolong praised the exceptional skills and teamwork displayed during the exercises, with winners recognized for their performance.
