BAGUIO CITY — Operatives from the Abra Provincial Police are on a mission to hunt the suspects of two separate shooting incidents that took place in one day in two municipalities of the province last 7 December 2024.
Reports disclosed that a bus conductor was shot in front of a Baptist Church along the National Road in Barangay Pantud, Pidigan, Abra at 2 p.m. The victim was identified as Ronald dela Cruz Aquino, a resident of Tagudin, Ilocos Sur.
Investigations showed that the victim was on board a passenger bus bound for Quezon City when one of the men on a motorcycle on the other lane of the road fired at him. Aquino was hit on his left chest and left hand.
The victim was rushed to the Assumpta Hospital in Bangued, Abra by the responding police. A manhunt operation was launched against the suspects.
Earlier that day, an individual was also shot by another man with whom he had a quarrel in Barangay Bai, Lagayan, Abra.
The victim was identified as Kendrick Andoy Sindon, a resident of Sitio Nagba, Barangay Pang-ot, who was shot by the suspect identified as Mario Blaza Ancheta.
