(From L-R) Marvin Nares, 32, and Nadir Arob, 34, pack charcoal inside a warehouse at Commonwealth Market, Quezon City, Friday, 6 December.
Arob, originally from Marawi City, said he has worked at the charcoal store for 14 years. Meanwhile, Nares, who hails from Bicol, said he has been working there for a year but has experience in similar jobs with other companies.
Both workers said they earn P500 per day and work seven days a week unless they request a day off or vacation.
