The Philippine National Police (PNP) said it has received reports that supporters of Vice President Sara Duterte were offered payment, transportation, and food allowances to attend a rally at the EDSA Shrine in Quezon City.
In a press briefing at Camp Crame, PNP spokesperson BGen. Jean Fajardo played a video circulating online that showed supporters of Duterte being transported to the rally.
“There are some videos circulating, and I would like to share that some of the individuals in these videos were supposedly transported from their barangays to the location,” Fajardo told reporters.
