My Thanksgiving birthday

I’m so lucky to still be celebrating my birthday, even after almost 11 months the actual date! It’s all thanks to my thoughtful BFF, Bobby Alvarez Jr., who wanted to make me feel extra special. Thank you, bestie Bobby!

We finally had the chance to get together for another night of sumptuous food and amazing company. I chose to do it on 11 November. I keep seeing 1111 everywhere, so I thought it would be a great date to celebrate. But I recently learned that it’s an angel number, and when you see it, it’s a sign of good luck and new beginnings! It’s so timely! Some people also use the expression “11:11 — make a wish!” so that’s perfect for my birthday, too.

Together with Bobby were a couple of close friends. We went to my favorite, The Peak Speakeasy at Grand Hyatt. Nothing like the best food and view — I will never get tired of them! It was an intimate gathering, but we had so much fun nonetheless with lots of chikahan, and even some dancing and singing!

I wish I could have celebrated with more friends, but unfortunately I could only invite 25. So I decided to give thanks to friends who have hosted my birthday in the past and included them here. I am so grateful for them, and this was a night to show them just how much.

I’m so touched by this gesture. I thank my BFF Bobby for making this happen! With Thanksgiving coming up, I know he and all my friends are just one of the things I’m so grateful for. As for my 11:11 wish? I wish for continued happiness and more reasons to celebrate with friends and family! Cheers!
