Former Ilocos Sur Governor and now senatorial candidate Luis “Chavit” Singson surprised Caloocan residents in Barangay 28 and Barangay 34 with food packs and monetary support.
He was accompanied by his daughter, Richelle Singson-Michael of Ako Ilocano Ako Partylist.
Singson also provided cash aid to five residents using draw lots.
He also encouraged the Caloocan residents to download the Vigan Bank application which will be available this December.
Meantime, Singson’s daughter Richelle showcased the features of Vigan Bank (V Bank) that will allow interest-free banking transactions.
The former Ilocos Sur governor also reiterated his stance on the public utility vehicles modernization program, saying that he will give his full support to drivers and operators.
“I will shell out my personal money to the drivers and operators of public vehicles, especially to the poor ones to support the modernization,” Singson said.
