Claudine Barreto claimed that she would fight for her right to over P100M in conjugal cash in an interview with Luis Manzano on his YouTube channel, "Luis Listens". She also said she was only left with P20,000. That part of the interview appears to have been edited out. This is after Raymart Santiago's lawyers released a statement reminding Barretto that as she and her ex-husband are going through an annulment, a gag order has been in place since September of 2023.
"We remind Ms. Barretto and all other media outlets that making, airing, and publishing defamatory statements about our client are violations of a court order."
"Nobody is above the law. Let this be a stern warning that Ms. Barretto's act of making false, malicious, and defamatory statements about our client are flagrant violations of the Gag Order issued by the court where the nullity proceedings are pending."
Barretto and Santiago have been separated since 2013.
