A group initially formed to support Vice President Sara Duterte's election bid last year has been reactivated to show support for former President Rodrigo R. Duterte.
The Mayor Sara Duterte Alliance, later renamed Marcos-Sara Duterte Alliance, will gather at the Quezon City Prosecutor's Office on 15 December to back former President Duterte as he files a counter-affidavit against red-tagging and grave threats charges filed by ACT Teachers Representative France Castro.
MASADA has been sending messages through its Viber group "Masada crusaders for Sara FPRRD," calling on "all dedicated supporters" to attend the gathering.
The message emphasized Duterte's defense against "the left and other criminal elements" during his presidency, urging supporters to "stand up for Tatay Digong."
It also encouraged participants to bring their own food and water, reiterating the voluntary nature of the gathering.
The group's reactivation follows Castro's criminal complaint filed on 24 October, accusing Duterte of threatening and red-tagging her on television.
Duterte is expected to arrive at the QC Prosecutor's Office on Friday.
