Love in air at Las Piñas mass wedding

In celebration of love and unity, the local government of Las Piñas hosted a mass wedding for 115 unmarried couples last Friday, 24 November, providing them with a memorable start to their matrimonial journey.
Aptly called "Kasalang Bayan," the grand ceremony held at the Verdant Covered Courts in Barangay Pamplona Tres, showcased the city's commitment to fostering strong community bonds. Vice Mayor April Aguilar, who officiated the ceremony, expressed her joy and best wishes for the newlyweds.
The "Kasalang Bayan" program is a hallmark initiative by the city government, offering a cost-free wedding experience to its residents. This includes the filing of applications, notarization and issuance of marriage certificates, ensuring a hassle-free process for the couples.
The city, through the generosity of City Mayor Mel Aguilar and Vice Mayor April Aguilar, provided each couple with wedding essentials such as rings, a ceremonial cake, wine and gift tokens.
The Local Government of Las Piñas continues to demonstrate its commitment to its citizens, not only through infrastructural development and public services but also by nurturing the social and cultural fabric of the city.
