Diamond Star Maricel Soriano admitted that she allowed very close friend Roderick Paulate to slap her twice as they portray twins in the film that they topbill under the direction of FM Reyes.
Soriano spilled the revelation at the mediacon for the film "In His Mother's Eyes" at Crystal Palace in Morato Avenue, Quezon City on Thursday evening.
"In His Mother's Eyes" is a tear-jerking film about a mother and a son with Autism but Maricel Soriano (who portrays the mother) was very jolly when she teased her director, FM Reyes, about how un-appreciative he is about her difficult scenes with her son (young actor LA Santos) and her cruel twin (portrayed by Roderick Paulate, her very close friend in real life.
