Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Benjamin "Benhur" Abalos Jr. placed first among the best-performing Cabinet Secretaries under President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.'s administration, a survey by the RP Mission and Development Foundation's (RPMDF) job performance ratings showed.
In the RPMDF third-quarter survey conducted from 20 to 30 September 2023, Abalos posted a 90 percent rating on the overall job performance.
He was followed by DSWD Secretary Rex Gatchalian (84%) and Tourism Secretary Christina Garcia-Frasco (83%) at second and third places, respectively.
Rounding up the top five were Transportation chief Jaime Bautista (81%) and DBM chief Amenah Pangandaman (80%).
