Quezon City Police District Director, P/Brig. Gen. Redrico Maranan on Tuesday assured the public of a strengthened police security to have a peaceful observance of All Souls' and All Saints' days this year.
He said the QCPD will deploy more or less 3,864 personnel to bus terminals, MRT/LRT stations, malls, cemeteries, and columbarium in Quezon City to ensure the security and public safety of the citizens.
Assistance Hubs will be established in every cemetery and columbaria to give immediate assistance needed by the public especially to those people with disability and elderly. The public is encouraged to report to the established AHs any suspicious or untoward incidents for appropriate action.
Meanwhile, anticipating criminal elements to take advantage of the situation, the QCPD is continuously conducting anti-criminality operations to prevent any illegal activities and to preempt lawless elements.
