Limay town 2nd richest municipality

LIMAY, Bataan — The local government here announced that the municipality has emerged as the second richest town for Calendar Year 2022, according to town Mayor Nelson David.
David attributed the big source of income from the Bataan Petron Refinery and other multinational companies here as he also expressed optimism that they can again bag the most richest town in coming years after Carmona, Cavite had been converted into a city.
Some also attributed the success of Limay to the strong local political leadership tandem of David and his son Vice Mayor Richie David and their allies in the council.
Last year, David said they were inducted to a Hall of Fame for being the richest municipality in the whole country.
Meantime, Mariveles town, host to the Freeport Area of Bataan was no longer included in the top richest municipality, unlike in the past previous years.
