After a fortnight of impressive showing in the LPGA, Filipina golfer Bianca Pagdanganan broke her long silence in social media to thank those who helped her get out of the rut.

And one of them was a couple who hosted her and her parents in Dallas during The Ascendants where she landed tied for second.

"Grateful for the T2 finish this week at Dallas. Conditions were pretty tough which makes me even more proud of myself and how I played," Pagdanganan wrote in Instagram.

"I'd like to thank Tito Chito and Tita Inez for their hospitality and for hosting me and my parents. I think the home-cooked meals were the key this week."

Looking to regain her full status in the Tour, Pagdanganan actually had back-to-back remarkable weekends, having tied for 3rd in the Walmart NW in Arkansas.

That enabled her to climb from as low as 380 in the world rankings to 160th following Dallas.

But most importantly, Bianca, 25, moved from 129th to No. 48 in the Race to the CME Globe whose cut-off for the Tour Championship was top 60.

"I try to bump my way up," said Pagdanganan in a separate interview.

"It's a step-by-step process for me. So after last week I was like okay. I'm in a good position. Let's try to stay within top 100. I honestly don't know where I am right now."

One thing's for sure: She's in better position to keep her LPGA card.
