Filipino Miguel Tabuena bounced back with a 66 on Saturday to grab a share of ninth place with one round left in the Asian Tour International Series Singapore.

Recovering from his 71-71 in the first two rounds, Tabuena is now 12 shots off the leader in the $2 million tournament at the Tanah Merah Country Club (Tampines Course).

Angelo Que made a 73 in the third round for 216 total for a share of 59th place.

Spain's David Puig on Saturday left his closest rivals trailing in his wake after firing a six-under-par third-round 66 to storm nine shots ahead.

South Korea's Eom Jae-woong signed for a 69 to end the day in outright second place, while Thailand's Atiruj Winaicharoenchai and Australia's Jack Thompson are a further shot back in a share of third place with their three-day total of 10-under-par 206.

Puig, who plays for Torque GC on the LIV Golf circuit, charged out of the blocks strongly with three birdies on holes two, four and five before an eagle-three on eight put him further ahead.

The 21-year-old parred his next nine holes before closing with another birdie on 18 to stand on the verge of winning his first professional individual title since he joined the play-for-pay ranks slightly over a year ago.
