Current Miss Universe R'Bonney Gabriel celebrated Mother's Day with her mom in the Philippines.

The Filipino-American beauty queen from Texas was born to a Filipino father, Remigio Bonzon "R. Bon" Gabriel, and an American mother, Dana Walker.

Miss Universe organization posted on Instagram some recent and throwback photos of R'Bonney and her mom Dana as a tribute to the occasion, along with a caption attributed to the beauty queen.

"Here's to the fearless women who shape the world with love and empowerment. Today, we celebrate the remarkable mothers who empower generations of strong women. Happy Mother's Day!"

R'Bonney, together with her parents, arrived in the Philippines days before the coronation night of Miss Universe Philippines 2023 on 13 May, where she graced the event.

She won the Miss Universe crown representing the United States in 2022 and is regarded as the first Fil-Am to clinch the prestigious beauty title.
